Architecture, design and flavors in one place
The Mercado Arboledas project is not a common or ordinary project, it was thought out over several years, forging its own soul along the way. Puebla has countless places for recreation, where gastronomy and community are important axis, however, the demand for this type of spaces is not so much seen in the south of the city, this is where the Mercado project was born.
The challenge; how to unite architecture, design and experiences in one identity?
Initially, we took into account the characteristic features that would represent the brand: to unite the Puebla community in a common space, where the urban is an essential part of sharing experiences with those you love the most.
Starting from this, the sketching process was primodial to structure the image of the Mercado Arboledas, with a brainstorming that would transmit all these concepts.
The layout went from very geometric shapes, achieving the allusion to elements of interior design with an industrial context; thick strokes that denoted strength and versatility.
Working together with expert architects (Atelier DS Arquitectos) and with a great professional background provided a more complete picture to give soul to Mercado Arboledas, from the renderings, monitoring the construction of space, finishes, everything was designed to give the image that was desired, both for the graphic part and the design of the interiors and open spaces.
The final result is closely linked to the aforementioned concepts; the union between the letter “d” with the other letters represents a sense of community, family and experiences, the outline of a smile is perceived in this stroke.
